GE AviationUX Architect
Apr. 2021 - Jul. 2022Cincinnati, Ohio, United StatesAfter a short stint with Edison Works, moved to C&S to take over UX Architect role for a large initiative with Flight Data for our commercial internal teams and our external customers. Day to day research of data, personas, and systems of record. Reconnecting with my MRO colleagues and APAC partners who I worked with on projects with operators there. Close collaboration with Cheltenham Principal Architect, data science team, and POs in India to ensure direction is accurate yet encompassing the entire Flight Data macrocosm. The end goal is to sunset legacy systems, consolidate data into fewer repositories, streamline all UX workflows, and monetize enhanced services to customers. Last two months on two other teams as primary researcher, strategist, and wireframe designer for Costing & Billing, and Engine Modeling. My role here is to work with Technical Managers to pinpoint the root cause of data quality issues, and reconfigure systems and manual processes towards a Digital Transformation and automated workflows.
