• I sold underperforming divisions, streamlined inventory and warehouse operations, and upgraded maintenance protocols which slashed operating costs by $2M+.
• By decreasing headcount by 49%, championing operational improvements and selling underperforming divisions, I generated a $2.3M annual cost savings.
• I advocated for distributors to commandeer orders upon completion, decreasing monthly inventory holding costs by 23%.
• Through renegotiations, I secured non-profitable sales agreements that represented 47% of annual sales, which produced a positive monthly operating cash flow for the first time in 5 years.
• To improve the average unit contribution margin for distributor sales from 8% to 25%, I introduced new pricing guidelines and revamped the authorized distributor program.
• Through price renegotiations for the Supply Chain Director, I reduced plastics raw materials costs by 5% and reduced corrugated costs by 20%.
• I overhauled the customer service/logistics team, cutting customer complaints by an average of 75%, improved on-time shipment 32% saving $1.1M over a 3.5-year period.
• I led the relocation of the MD plant, providing a five-year payback, supported by a $900K State of Delaware grant and a utility cost savings of 15%.
• By reallocating production for Western US customers to Reno, NV, I reduced manufacturing costs by 11.5% and shipping costs 20%, all of which generated a $900K savings.
• I steered the Hedwin Corporation through a successful bankruptcy and dissolution of ESOP; directed the sale of the company to Fujimori Kogyo Company Limited for $22M.
