We develop a multi-component system that supports business processes in big medical laboratories. The system tracks the entire lifecycle of every analysis starting from sampling, processing, delivering results to specialists and final review. The list below outlines some of my tasks that I performed as the front-end developer: • Introduced a new service, which simplified the start of every step in the workflow taking responsibility for preconditions validation, interaction with the user when appropriate, status/error messaging, state management, etc. The service was extendable with the option to override its default behavior. • Extended the standard Angular Material components, adjusted their behavior, and built a custom components library. • Created a form generator which was actively using the custom components library. • Participated in the features’ design effort which included the front-end part of the feature as well as the back-end part. The challenge with each feature was a large number of complicated business rules and the need for every developer to understand the whole system and its architecture very well. • Interacted with the team to ref ine story def initions, analyze possible technical solutions and chose the best one, and troubleshoot integration issues. Jan. 2022 - May. 2024In addition to my current project, I work as a coach for novice/junior front-end specialists (Russian- and English-speaking) who study in the corporate Training Center. We focus on front-end programming practical exercises including HTML, CSS, JS, MongoDB, Node.js and Express. My role involves: • Students support with their own projects development • Code review and guidance on the coding best practices • Teaching on the development processes basics As a separate activity, I prepared the educational program and gave lectures QA engineers to help them better understand how modern web applications work, so they can leverage their new knowledge in the testing. I’ve worked with multiple streams of 100 students in total. Also, two years in a row I conducted summer front-end programming school for teenagers to introduce them to the IT world.
