Lead for all of the Operational and Investigative resources of the Constabulary based across its 3 large policing divisions delivering high quality policing services from emergency response to problem solving and engagement through neighbourhood policing teams. Command - Strategic firearms commander, gold public order commander, post incident commander, siege manager. Managing multiple serious incidents and a fatal shooting investigation. NPCC Lead - National Policing Lead for the development of CCTV in Policing North West Chief Officer lead for Evidence Based Policing - engaging and commissioning academic study to further the quality of policing services Force Control Room - managed project transitioning from 6 control rooms to a single force control room. Performance Approach - this lead activity supported the development of non target based improvement of service delivery. Enhancing discretion for police officers and encouraged focus on high victim impact policing issues. Early Action - Constabulary lead for the delivery of 'frontline early action' in partnership to develop a broader Public Service Lancashire. This focused on high intensive users of service across a range of agencies aiming to improve lives by developing solutions and pathways that address vulnerability Chair of multi agency early action board enhancing a prevention partnership Chair of Children's Trust Board across Lancashire with responsibility for risk assessment of safeguarding Force Lead on Citizens in Policing - developed engagement, intelligence and capacity across the County through neighbourhood policing from the support of 800 Police Cadets, 500 Special Constables and over 600 community based neighbourhood volunteers. Force Lead on Digital Engagement creating an ambitious plan to transform the way that the public do business with the Constabulary.
