Jan. 2017 - May. 2017County Louth, Ireland• Prepare and present targeted and accurate copy for online channels, Schools, DkIT and external marketing materials, in line with Institute’s branding guidelines and in liaison with relevant marketing staff and external audiences.
• Where appropriate prepare on-brand artwork for approval by Marketing Manager.
• Investigate, research and prepare reports on key marketing issues and undertake market research, competitor analysis, statistical and trend analyses as directed.
• Where appropriate to source and develop a library of images, student, alumni and staff profiles along with a bank of copy for use across a wide range of media and publications to reflect course, department and university USPs.
• Work closely with other administrative and academic staff to support the organisation of Institute events to an agreed schedule. Includes major student recruitment events, conferences and exhibitions such as postgraduate and undergraduate Open Days and fairs, Applicant/Visit Days and VIP visits, graduations and public lectures.
• Represent the Institute at appropriate recruitment and promotional events and attend as required (occasionally outside of normal working hours).
• Support content creation and management of social media accounts to maximise the positive exposure of DkIT across these platforms.
• Support the ongoing development of the DkIT Website in terms of copy writing, general design and management of updates.
• Work effectively with staff within the University and external media organisations and other agencies to identify PR opportunities that raise the PR profile of the Institute; locally, nationally and internationally.
