• Designed and developed an SMS application for the Windows platform, using Visual Basic 6 for the user interface, and SQL Server 2000 for the database.
• Implemented GENIISYS, the graphical, Oracle-based non-life insurance information system package at Fortune Guarantee Insurance Corp., CityState Insurance Corp., Nicphil Insurance Corp., and Covenant Assurance Corp.
• Supervised the Y2K conversion of the Non-Life Insurance Information System package at Citystate Insurance, and Metro Insurance Corp.
• Implemented the Non-Life Insurance Information System package at Meridian Insurance Corp.
• Designed and implemented the Cash Disbursement System at Pioneer Insurance Corp.
• Designed, developed, and implemented the Credit and Collection System at Philippine Telephone Directory Incorporated. Detailed Responsibilities:
• Prepare the master Project Schedule for approval by the client.
• Plan the project kick-off during which time, the entire project will be explained to all
employees in attendance.
• Organize the client Project Steering Committee with the help and support of the
Executive VP.
• Meet with the client’s Project Steering Committee weekly to discuss the status of the
project, and to bring to the attention of Committee members any problems or issues with regards to the implementation of the project.
• Prepare weekly status reports.
• Meet with CPI’s management on a weekly basis, to inform them of the status of the
project.
• Supervise the installation of the Oracle RDBMS and GENIISYS General
Insurance Information System) on the Windows server.
• Set up the System reference tables in coordination with the client users, using
Oracle’s upload facility.
• Write Oracle scripts as may be necessary.
• Inform the development team of any bugs that come up during implementation.
• Obtain the Approval Sheet per system implemented.
• Prepare the Post-Project Report.
• Generate additional revenues for CPI by obtaining additional projects from the client.
