Sep. 2017Cape Town Area, South Africao Develop test procedures for production department. o Test Company instruments and sub-assemblies o Analyse performance of products, then making suitable recommendations o Diagnose and resolve problems with products, methods, and equipment. o Fault-finding, repair and expedite of company instruments up to pcb level. o Calibration of company’s instruments and sub-assemblies o Quality Assurance and factory release checks are conducted on instruments. o Report writing on fault analysis. o Develop and update documentation. o Log maintenance and repair of instruments on company project management tool o Inspect machinery and report any faults to management and Production colleagues. o Assist engineers in developing, building, or testing new products, processes, or procedures. o Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance. o Clean production equipment and work areas o Client liaison regarding workshop repairs o Technical support on instruments towards clients o Stay up to date with efficient methods of production and equipment maintenance procedures. o Share knowledge with rest of Production staff.
