1. Coordinate financial operations across 5+ single and multi-partner programmes, ensuring 100% compliance with donor requirements and organisational financial standards throughout.
2. Lead senior management financial forecasting processes, identifying funding gaps and operational risks and recommending corrective actions to the Country Director monthly.
3. Oversee and approve payroll processing across 2 bilateral countries, ensuring accurate, timely salary disbursements for 50+ staff with zero payroll errors recorded.
4. Chair and lead all organisational audits and spot-check inspections, achieving a high audit success rate through meticulous preparation and adherence to international standards.
5. Consolidate and validate monthly country office accounts before submission to COOPI headquarters, maintaining 100% accuracy in financial programming and management reporting.
6. Supervise cash management across Nairobi coordination and Somalia field offices, controlling cash flow to 8+ active projects and maintaining full treasury integrity throughout.
7. Manage and supervise 4+ administrators and accountants across the country coordination office, providing technical training on COOPI financial and administrative procedures consistently.
8. Train programme administrators on COOPI and donor financial procedures, improving compliance accuracy by approximately 30% across all field and coordination office teams.
