Over the last years I’ve: • Reduced overall cloud spend by ~25% while the business and traffic continued to grow, through architectural optimization, capacity planning, and AWS Savings Plans/RI strategy. • Cut third-party CDN costs by building a geo-distributed, low-latency WebRTC/LL-HLS video CDN in-house, tailored to our traffic patterns and quality requirements. • Built the DevOps and Infrastructure organization almost from scratch: defining org structure, hiring and developing high-performing engineers, and establishing clear ownership and SLAs. • Worked closely with C-level leadership on infrastructure strategy, budgeting, and long-term capacity plans, translating business goals into concrete technical roadmaps. • Led the design and implementation of complex, high-availability infrastructure to support real-time video products and data-intensive workloads. • Established regular cross-team knowledge-sharing and engineering practices that improved collaboration, reduced silos, and accelerated delivery.
