Apr. 2007 - Jul. 2008Melbourne, AustraliaThis role provides effective service delivery of the project supply/demand management function, including: -Attending new business/client leadership meetings to develop sourcing strategies/understand pipeline (also including CSG Recruitment Lead in new business meetings where sourcing strategies are being defined) -Shaping and optimizing project resource plan -Working with fulfilment channels to execute plans, and “as tomorrow turns into today,” ensuring current demand and supply of people are fully utilized; if not, taking action to off-set imbalances. -Acting as a “Bridge” between the future forecast and today’s supply/demand situation by collaborating with business leaders to right size the practice -Identifying and addressing supply/demand gaps. -Identifying resourcing risks and building resourcing plans to meet anticipated demand -Resolving staffing/scheduling escalations
Day to day responsibilities:
-Ensure overall CSG demand is staffed with the right people within the timelines and in a cost effective manner -Work with client project teams to ensure fulfilment of open positions and future resourcing needs -Monitoring balance of CSG skills and proactively working with leadership to size group to meet current and projected client demand -Coordinate with counterparts in recruiting, core HR and contracting to execute overall CSG resource strategy Forecasting Responsibilities: -Quarterly review of supply and demand forecasts -Monitor/responsible for key supply/demand metrics (overdue demand, roll offs, win probabilities, and chargeability forecasts) and collaborate with key stakeholder to analyse and interpret the results and action as needed -Complete monthly forecasting submissions -Recommend actions with business leaders to appropriately size the Resource Pool to balance supply with demands and meet chargeability and other metrics -Manage demand working closely projects and updating internal scheduling systems
