Major insurance company, supporting several claims adjusters, transcribing dictation of correspondence, reports, verbatim recorded statements, interviews and meetings. As requested, also edited and cleaned up interviews and statements. I have had some experience doing medical transcription, mainly for a major psychiatric hospital in Dallas. My part-time jobs have included running computer system back-ups after office hours, teaching high school Biology for a brief amount of time, and various clerical office positions secured through employment agencies. I have almost always held one full-time job and another part-time job at the same time. I have never been unemployed for long periods of time, usually working full time or attending college full time, and always working on temporary jobs in between. Now retired from full-time office employment, I prefer to work at home on a contract labor basis, to supplement my retirement income. Would also consider regular part-time or full-time employment.
