Sep. 2023NepalProgram Quality & Delivery – Ensure the application of Programme Quality Delivery (PQD) standards, focusing on project setup, initiation, and the Learn and Adapt segments. Oversee the timely and quality delivery of projects and awards, ensuring compliance with donor requirements, internal policies, and budget constraints. Project & Award Management – Coordinate with government entities for project agreements, lead evaluations, and support the monitoring of project budgets and work plans. Work closely with finance teams to build project managers' capacity in budget management and ensure compliance with financial responsibilities. Sub-Award Management – Oversee sub-award management, ensuring partner capacity building and compliance with donor requirements. Collaborate with finance teams for procurement and logistics, ensuring value for money and the effective closing of projects in line with donor and organizational guidelines. Strategic Alignment & Impact – Ensure projects align with Practical Action’s change ambitions, integrating gender, MEL, and systems approaches to enhance effectiveness and demonstrate impact. Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) – Establish robust MEL systems to assess impact and cost-effectiveness, drive lesson learning, and apply insights to project design, policy, and organizational growth. Knowledge Sharing & Planning – Foster learning, share insights to influence stakeholders and improve proposals, contribute to internal reporting, strategic business planning, and cross-theme integration. Risk Management - Ensure risks are identified and tracked in risk registers and are monitored for all projects & awards and, in particular, lead the monitoring of high risk awards.
