The newsroom churned out content for the website, social, Youtube and TV growing average monthly pageviews and unique visitors by 100% and 150% respectively. On business development, I initiated and serviced high-profile clients and partners including Facebook, Google, AFP, and Reuters, securing a $250,000 grant from YouTube for Innovation. I was responsible for editorial, operational, commercial and product innovations at Guardian Digital with an ultimate objective to position The Guardian Nigeria brand as the go-to most credible and innovative Nigerian news brand in Africa. As a senior management staff, I was responsible for securing the continued goodwill of the executives to invest and support a digital repositioning for the legacy national newspaper.
