I am a Vietnamese documentary photographer and photo editor with over 20 years of experience in photography. My work centers on intimate, human-centered storytelling, with a focus on nuance and long-term narratives within broader social contexts. It gained international recognition through my long-term project The Pink Choice, which was awarded First Prize at World Press Photo 2013 (Contemporary Issues). My work has since been widely published across major international publications. I have over 10 years of experience collaborating with Bloomberg as a photographer, and continue to work with them on editorial assignments. I have also worked across editorial and commissioned projects with leading magazines and international organizations. With a strong editorial eye shaped by years of newsroom experience, I work across roles as a photographer, photo editor, and mentor. I also served as a jury member for the 2023 World Press Photo Contest.
