Oct. 2009 - Jan. 2012Doha, QatarSupervising, Monitoring and Approving the installation of the MEP Systems at site mainly the Process Chillers, Process Pumps, Process Pipes & Valves, Cooling Towers, Centrifugal Filters, Fire Fighting Systems, Transformers, Transformers, MCC, VFD,Generating Sets, Auxiliary Power Systems, Elevators, Temporary chillers, etc Attending the site inspections with the Consultant, the Main Contractor and the various Sub Contractors while conducting the Pre Start Ups & Start Ups Tests, Pre Commissioning & Commissioning Tests for all the MEP systems at the IDCP. Acting as liaison between the Operations Team and the Main Contractor to follow up, Boost up and repair all the break downs encountered during the start Up phase to avoid any plant production shut downs or any shortage in the plant production. Forming, Training and establishing the maintenance team for Qatar Cool at the TPQ who is currently in charge of all the maintenance activities required for the installed MEP Systems at the IDCP. Studying and Implementing Emergency Back up plans to avoid any shortage in the plant water demand as well as to overcome the PDN leaks in a very short period of time. Helping and supporting the Main Contractor while addressing their problems with different Sub Contractors mainly with Chillers Suppliers (JCI) based on my past experience with JCI as well as in finding practical solutions for the failures & running issues encountered during the earlier start-up & commission phases. Reviewing and approving all the Installation and Operations Manuals (IOM) for the MEP Systems at the IDCP as well as member of the Snag Lists Team acting as a liaison between Project Team, the Consultant DAR EL HANDASSAH, the Main Contractor CAT, the different Sub Contractors to ensure clearing and completing all the rectifications works required FOR the different systems at the IDCP.
