Jan. 2012 - Nov. 2015Doha, QatarIn charge of the maintenance for The Pearl Qatar with Qatar Cool, including the Largest District Cooling Plant in the World (IDCP) as well as Tens of Energy Transfer Stations (ETS), Tens of Heat Exchangers Stations (HEX), Kilometers of Pipe Distributions Network (PDN) and Hundreds of Valves. The IDCP has a Capacity of 130,000 Tons of Refrigeration. It Consists of Fifty two (52) Centrifugal Chillers arranged in 26 models in series counter flow arrangement forming a 5000 Tons of Refrigeration Train. It has 26 Horizontal Double Suction Chilled Water Pumps with a rate of 7,500 US gallons per minute. The Plant houses Twenty six (26) Vertical Turbine Condenser Water Pumps with a Flow rate of 11,170 US gallons per minute and Twenty Six (26) Cooling Towers with Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) Fans. The plant is fed thru 66KV Main Power Feeders where the primary power system of the plant is supplied with an 11KV Multi – Feeder Supply, 11KV/3.3KV Step Down Transformers to serve the Process Equipment and Chillers.

Oct. 2009 - Jan. 2012Doha, QatarSupervising, Monitoring and Approving the installation of the MEP Systems at site mainly the Process Chillers, Process Pumps, Process Pipes & Valves, Cooling Towers, Centrifugal Filters, Fire Fighting Systems, Transformers, Transformers, MCC, VFD,Generating Sets, Auxiliary Power Systems, Elevators, Temporary chillers, etc Attending the site inspections with the Consultant, the Main Contractor and the various Sub Contractors while conducting the Pre Start Ups & Start Ups Tests, Pre Commissioning & Commissioning Tests for all the MEP systems at the IDCP. Acting as liaison between the Operations Team and the Main Contractor to follow up, Boost up and repair all the break downs encountered during the start Up phase to avoid any plant production shut downs or any shortage in the plant production. Forming, Training and establishing the maintenance team for Qatar Cool at the TPQ who is currently in charge of all the maintenance activities required for the installed MEP Systems at the IDCP. Studying and Implementing Emergency Back up plans to avoid any shortage in the plant water demand as well as to overcome the PDN leaks in a very short period of time. Helping and supporting the Main Contractor while addressing their problems with different Sub Contractors mainly with Chillers Suppliers (JCI) based on my past experience with JCI as well as in finding practical solutions for the failures & running issues encountered during the earlier start-up & commission phases. Reviewing and approving all the Installation and Operations Manuals (IOM) for the MEP Systems at the IDCP as well as member of the Snag Lists Team acting as a liaison between Project Team, the Consultant DAR EL HANDASSAH, the Main Contractor CAT, the different Sub Contractors to ensure clearing and completing all the rectifications works required FOR the different systems at the IDCP.

Forty Four West Bay is a five stars unique residential tower overlooking the Doha with a total value project of more than 100,000 000$ in the heart of Doha West Bay boast a variety of luxury 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and state of art penthouse. Supervising, monitoring and approving the work of the contractors with the appropriate surveys and reports; Acting as a liaison between the Tower Owner, the Main Consultant, Contractors and Vendors. Negotiated and secured Consultant, Contractors & Vendors letters; key decision-maker on selection of products and vendors. Representing the Owner while taking over the tower from the consultant / Contractor; managing the Electro Mechanical Team in charge of checking and inspecting all the MEP works and Snags lists inside the tower. Established the Property Management Team and directed and trained the Technicians to achieve proper management of the tower in the first year from the start up and commissioning of all the MEP systems; setting up all the Preventive Maintenance Plan, Job Plans & Technical Details. Representing the Tower Owner while handing over the project with all its MEP Systems, Assets and Equipment to the new Owner of the Tower (The Diplomatic Club).

Service Engineer (Installation Supervisor, Project Manager): Surveying new sites to be sub-contracted and coordinating with Clients. Pricing, Sub Contracting, Installing & Maintaining new Air Conditioning & Refrigerating Projects specifically related to Centrifugal & Air Cooled Chillers. Leading a group of Engineers and Technicians specialized in the Electro Mechanical Fields (Generating Sets, Water Supply & Sanitary Systems, Water Treatment, Swimming Pools, Power Supply Systems, Chillers & Refrigeration, Fire Fighting Systems, Boilers, CCTV & Automatic Gates). Complete computerizing of the maintenance and facility management firm; Study on the development of the electro mechanical department in the various fields and specifications in both the Lebanese and the Gulf Markets. Setting up the technical and administrative management firm for the electro mechanical department. Main role in setting up all the Company & Electro Mechanical Department processes and procedures and in obtaining the ISO 9001 Certification.
