Prudential FinancialDirector User Experience Design
Aug. 2022 - Mar. 2026Newark, NJI set design vision and lead DesignOps strategy across Prudential's Retirement Strategies portfolio, working across Business, Marketing, Product, Technology, Legal, and Financial Advisor channels to deliver omnichannel digital experiences at enterprise scale. My work spans two distinct tracks: Retirement Strategies — enterprise platforms, advisor tools, and distribution systems. I led PruXpress from end to end, introducing self-service capabilities, paperless asset transfer, and a redesigned book of business, driving a 15-point NPS increase in under 12 months. I directed the Data Exchange Management Tool, cutting processing time from weeks to minutes, and established a Developer API Storefront serving both technical and non-technical partners. Prudential Stages — the company's first 0-to-1 AI-powered D2C platform. I owned design vision and led a multidisciplinary team to launch "LIV," Prudential's first OpenAI-based retirement planning assistant, concept to market in 12 months, earning 6 CX industry awards for innovation and usability. What I focus on: - Scaling design orgs and embedding DesignOps across Agile delivery (8 to 16 teams, +45% product delivery) - Aligning C-suite stakeholders and building cross-functional design cultures that ship - Applying AI tooling to expand team bandwidth and output (+30%) - Designing responsible AI products in complex, regulated environments - Human-centered, accessible, inclusive design as a baseline — not a checkbox
