Nov. 2011 - Dec. 2013Ciudad Juárez, ChihuahuaCreation of a MPS using the customer requirements for a fabrication area, consisting in 35 Turning machines between mechanical and CNC, 19 stamping machines of different tonnages from 35 to 150 tons and a workshop for secondary operations, handling 3000+ SKU and making sure is performed in an in full and timely manner. • Reception of requirements forecast and perform a RCCP to validate we are able to meet the requirements. • Perform a capacity analysis by work center in order to identify any potential bottleneck and make a prediction of what the resources will be required by work center to meet the demand properly. • Develop a MPS for every machine by work center. • Support the cross-functional team to achieve high performance, thru training, advisory, teaching continuous improvement tools among others. • Leading to management system changes like hold GEMBA meetings, use a balance scorecard to track business, being a change agent to align everything to a common cause. • Implementation of capacity analysis process, tracking system such as a shop control online. These duties take the company to following achievements: • OTD improvement from 67% to 98%. • VMI successfully implemented with our main customer, which led us to reduce inventory and improve customer service. • Past due reduction by 96%. • Consolidation of two plants which led to a savings of almost 1M USD per year.
