Jan. 2022RemoteWorking on Snowbridge, a trustless bridge between Ethereum and Polkadot. For the last 3+ years, I have seen the project through development, onto mainnet. Since we launched on Ethereum and Polkadot mainnet, the total locked value locked in the bridge is more than $50 million. I was responsible for the Ethereum light client on Polkadot BridgeHub (Substrate based parachain), as well other key parts of the bridge. My day-to-day responsibilities include keeping the bridge up to date when Ethereum undergoes hard-forks, implementing new bridge features (from the React UI to the on-chain Substrate code), being on call. etc. I also contribute regularly to the Polkadot SDK and I am a part of the Polkadot Technical Fellowship.

As part of my responsibilities I ensured quality over all web application products, drive our strategy towards test automation and adoption of RESTful APIs. One of the exciting projects I led was the TMForum Loyalty Open API, which was released in December 2016. The specification won an Outstanding Contribution reward from the TMForum in February 2017, Lisbon. Globetom has partnered with an outsourced team to help us build new products. I was responsible to for compiling design specifications and managing the entire SDLC. We used Agile (Scrum) as our project delivery method. Being the lead web developer, I also enjoyed training and mentoring our outsourced and local team on code quality, testability and maintainability. I also worked on implementation projects for Telflow order management product, from DGIT systems, a partner company in Melbourne, Australia. My role on the project was to attend requirements discovery meetings with the client, to discover and design the system-to-system integration, to coordinate tasks in the development team and to implement the solution using the Telflow product (Java, JBoss Fuse). The development technologies that I used included Java (JBoss Fuse), PHP (in-house developed framework and Laravel), C++, jQuery, AngularJS and CSS.
