Network Employees: >1500 • Led growth and transformation for the SportsPower business, with full P&L responsibility for the portfolio of SportsPower stores nationally, achieving successful performance turnaround for the division: − Grew store revenue by +20% over four years, navigating the business and its members through COVID − Grew contribution of the Sports division to ARL to 30% above pre-COVID levels through targeted cost transformation, reduction in COGS, and a significant increase in supplier contributions to the business
− Strengthened commitment from members through strategic business partnering, and successful delivery of digital transformation and strategic marketing initiatives • Developed and executed a clear strategy and value proposition for Member Services, to drive transformation improvement in member engagement, satisfaction, capability, and performance:
− Increased Member participation in marketing programs and Member investment in promotion by +20%
− Significantly improved Member satisfaction with the Sport division and Marketing functions
− Implemented consumer research and brand health tracking to develop clear consumer profiles and brand messages: • Mobilised, coached and developed a team of 12 direct reports including Product Managers, Marketing Managers, Digital Specialists, Design & Creative, Retail Systems Specialists, and a Member Liaison team • Championed the digital transformation agenda to enable the successful launch of the eCommerce platform and facilitate successful onboarding of 50+ stores onto the POS system
