Key responsibilities include leading all FPA&R (Financial Planning, Analysis and Reporting) for the operation including annual budget and long term budget exercise as well as providing cost control and advising the business leaders to meet the ever changing targets as business evolves. • Managing annual budget of US$8B in spend with a 700-million-unit volume per annum with the Manufacturing operations in Singapore, Malaysia, China, Czech Republic, Ireland, Puerto Rico and Brazil. • Playing the role of CFO for the Global Supply Chain organization managing more than ten global Manufacturing Partners and dealing with various regulatory authorities in areas of customs, global trade, and transactional tax. • Leading a team of over hundred Senior finance Professionals / Senior Managers across five locations including Singapore, Malaysia, Ireland and Puerto Rico. • Strategic leadership in tax planning and tax strategy and playing key role in balancing the location strategy of the Manufacturing Operation, the Legal Tax Factory and US Tax Laws. • Playing key role in Advance Pricing Agreement with US Tax. Playing key role in negotiation of favorable tax positions with EDB Singapore and China regional government. Playing a strategic role in the location of R&D, IP filing, Royalty payments so as to optimize cost and minimize tax exposure. • Negotiate R&D and Other Grants with EDB and other Regional Government Agencies. • Negotiating Ts and Cs with Manufacturing Partners and Commodity / Parts supplies for favorable cost, optimum inventory level and cash flow. • Managing all aspects of Financial Reporting / Costing / Budgeting / Internal Controls/ Strategic Long Term Financial Planning. • Ensuring compliance to FASB / SEC Accounting and Reporting Standards.
