Jan. 2013 - Mar. 2014Lawrenceville, NJ 08648Please note that the following is the "approved" text for my tenure at Wells Fargo. The language is purposely stilted and self-promotional, which anyone who knows me will recognize as inconsistent with how I like to present myself. With a work history including bond trading for Goldman Sachs and Manufacturers Hanover Securities Corp., owning and operating the environmentally proactive and socially progressive company White Lotus Home, and mathematics teaching, Theodore has thirty years of experience with the financial marketplace and socially responsible/sustainable investing. His commitment to his clients is simple: offer honest and strategic counsel to help clients reach their financial goals through assistance in managing their money in line with their values. When you work with Theodore, his primary interest is to help you achieve what you want in your life. Whether you are funding college or retirement, saving for a home or a boat, traveling or working in your garden, changing careers, starting a non-profit or trekking the Himalayas, budgeting and planning are required. How much and when to save, where to invest, and in what: these are all questions that can best be answered by someone who is more interested in helping you reach your goals, than in ‘closing the sale.’ His skill is what he doesn’t do – talk first. Meetings with Theodore will be mostly you talking – what interests you, what are your values, what would you choose in an ideal world? Only after Theodore has learned about you and has earned your trust will there ever be a discussion about ‘buying this’ or ‘investing in that.’ Theodore’s strength is in matching you and your goals with investments that will fund your dreams without compromising your values. He focuses on asset management choices that respect the environment, treat employees, neighbors, and customers fairly, and maintain ethical standards.
