Automation Sales Engineer Responsible for Developing and managing the relationship between Festo and designated accounts that belong to General Industry through specific application knowledge. This is to maximize and secure profitable sales of Festo products and services. Job Description • Developing trust relationship with a portfolio / major client to ensure they do not turn to competition • Expanding and build a strong relationship with existing customer and new market for General Industry ( OEM and End User) • Effectively handles the assigned customers through consultative selling of products and deep knowledge of applications and customer processes. • Responsible for customer visit planning, quotation follow up, using existing tools for monitoring, documentation and classification • Analyses the market to search for new potential customers. • Defines pricing according to customer situation in coordination with Data center. • Main contact to customer and initiates team selling in case of complex projects. • Responsible for the achievement of the agreed sales targets (budget etc.) acc. to his industry specific customer portfolio. • Develop product knowledge and technical skill independently from time to time using available channels or materials. • Analyse market development, identifying customer buying behaviour and aligning it accordingly to division business strategy and target. • Perform sales cycles in an orderly manner and be closely involved in the negotiation process to ensure a high success rate and meet the annual budget. • Create sales contact planning and visit reports in Mosaic in a regular basis as an integral part of customer relationship management. • Follow up on project status and customer payment in order to ensure healthy account receivables. • Pending AR follow up.
