Designed and piloted the Jumpstart College program and the Jumpstart: Pathway to Apprenticeship program . The former to support individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to place out of remedial classes through the Accuplacer placement test, the latter to help students currently living at or recently released from the RI Training School learn about and become prepared to apply to a variety of apprenticeship programs through the skilled trades unions in RI. Delivered community trainings and Spanish language radio show broadcasts on workers’ rights, health and safety on the job, and workers’ compensation.
