I have mitigated critical business risks through re-implementation of university student information system to optimize functionality and transition from on- premise environment to cloud-based environment. I have boosted office and remote workflow efficiency of staff members by integrating a scalable, cloud-based strategy for university technology operations. I have communicated university technology strategy and priorities to management by organizing IT steering committee. Some of my key contributions are: Generated improvement in manual processing for registrar’s office and Financial Aid from 90% to 60% and 70% to 50% respectively. Catered to and fulfilled ever-changing student needs via strategic alignment of payment options, driving reduction of 5% in student withdrawal rates for each term. Recognized for maintaining operating profit margins at approximately 32% for 4 consecutive years by restructuring student portal to improve the student experience via provision of better services. Attained first to third term student retention rate of 82%, packaging rate of 97% term over term, bad debt allowance of less than 3% annually, and cohort default rate of less than 5.5% through delivery of expert-level leadership support. Enriched overall student experience by propelling university-wide innovation across all technology platforms, while simultaneously fostering increased security and department collaboration. Ensured maximum reduction of overall costs and quality of outcomes through roll out of numerous outsource models for enhanced productivity.
