Sandra’s passion has always been within Data Analytics as well as the Financial Services space, where she is now an Analytics Translator within sales and trading. Translating data into value for the markets business will be her main focus area. Proficient in tools such as Microsoft SQL; Power BI and ACL which are used weekly in creating analytical solutions. She has 5 years experience in Data Analytics transforming audits into data driven audits, 6 years audit experience within the financial services industry of which 2.5 are within the PCAOB space at a Big Four firm in New York. Sandra also specialised in Audit Quality which allowed her to work closely with our regulators such as IRBA and PCAOB, this only grew her passion to implement and develop new capabilities using data analytics to improve the quality of audit. Sandra’s experience with SOX audits in the US led to coaching across Africa as an Internal Controls Coach. Her passion for teaching and coaching started when she completed her first year articles as an Academic Article Clerk at the University of Johannesburg.
