The core of its activities consists of various events such as monthly member meetings with focus to technological advancements in varied industries as well as Tampere city developmental plans. Annual ballroom is the crown event of the year. From time to time, there are excursions to technologically interesting destinations in Finland as well as abroad. The society also awards significant scholarships to pupils (LuMaTe - natural sciences and mathematics focus) and prizes for high-tech companies in Tampere and participates in projects that support technological development.
