I work on a little bit of everything but mostly focus on social media, marketing and event production.

Aug. 2015 - Aug. 2016Tip Hero is a homemaking and lifestyle blog that mostly features home-hacks and feel good stories. In 2015 I joined the team as their first videographer to create some of the first cooking and recipe videos that became a major trend on Facebook that year. Working with the owner and professional chefs, I created around 200 short form recipe videos in about a years time. I originated the format including lighting, camera angles, outro graphics and refined the overall editing style. One of my earliest videos was ranked the number one video on Facebook by interactions in 2015. After our initial success I helped design and build out the cooking studio including video gear and props.
Hoffman AcademyMultimedia Producer
Sep. 2014 - Dec. 2022Portland, Oregon Metropolitan AreaHoffman Academy is an online piano school geared towards younger students featuring a method created by the owner, Mr. Hoffman. All of the video content is free to users, with a subscription model providing print and audio materials. My job as multimedia producer involves the planning, shooting and editing of all video and photos. I created the current format including lighting, unique camera placement, audio and graphics for over 300 video tutorials and lessons. I have also worked with a small team of teachers to create a series of short form conversational lessons: from conception to scripting and through to the final edit. I have been working on developing a new Guitar curriculum. I also assist with general design and UX considerations and marketing duties.

Jan. 2014 - Jun. 2014North West Power Pool is a nonprofit organization that covers the continuing education and cooperation of all of the energy providing companies in the Northwest region of the United States. I was a member of the initial video production team where I was involved in most facets of the roll out of a new Learning Management System (LMS) and associated video lessons. I logged and edited science heavy video lessons averaging 45 min in length. Most of my time was spent storyboarding and animating motion graphics to help simplify complex scientific concepts.
