Oct. 1998 - Nov. 2013Juan Diaz (Star-Contact S, de R, L.)Achievements: • Implemented HR Department, recruited and hired all HR team members, established all necessary processes to comply with legal regulations and worked in continuous improvement. • Implemented Kronos as the first attendance time control system for legal compliance and payroll accuracy in 2005. • Supervised Payroll and Benefits for more than 10 years. The payroll claim process was implemented to monitor payroll accuracy, target and goal achieved were 98% and higher. • Led the first ISO 9000 certification in 2007. As an internal auditor led the re-certification for 2 years. • Worked with the Senior Leadership to propose the first collective agreement to be approved by the Ministry of Labor. Then it was renewed 4 times, renewal was required to be every 4 years: the first version was in 2004, then renewals were in 2008, 2012, 2016 which lasted till 2019. • Led the talent acquisition team for 12 years. • 100% on board with all acquisitions and mergers we experienced. Star Contact was sold to NCO in 2007, and in 2009 we finished the transition to the new owners/structure and processes. In 2011 Star Contact as NCO company was merged with APAC, and in 2016 it was sold to Alorica. • Acted as advisor for Guatemala, México, and Uruguay on how to showcase initiatives to the corporate office. • Developed training material for topics such as Labor code, internal regulations, disciplinary actions, time control, employee handbook content, etc. • During the first years in the company, I also administered other areas such as Janitorial teams and sub-contractors, reception area, maintenance, and any other area as needed.
