Professional Experience Senior Geotechnical Engineer Geo-Contractor, Oman 2017 – Present Geotechnical Investigation Conduct comprehensive soil investigations in accordance with international standards, including field execution, in-situ testing, and laboratory testing programs. Interpret field and laboratory results to prepare detailed geotechnical investigation reports with clear engineering recommendations. Supervise geotechnical fieldwork to ensure accuracy, quality control, and compliance with project specifications. Retaining Structures Design Design safe and cost-effective temporary and permanent earth retention systems, including soldier pile walls and cast-in-situ bored pile walls (cantilevered and braced systems). Apply advanced design approaches to ensure structural safety, constructability, and economic efficiency. Reference Projects: Sea intake structure for water desalination plant – Al Ghubrah, Oman; five-star hotel developments; multiple residential and commercial projects. Deep Foundation Design Design deep foundation systems using CFA and bored piles for more than 40 residential and commercial projects. Evaluate soil profiles, loading conditions, and structural requirements to develop optimized foundation solutions. Reference Projects: Barka Marine Project; Yiti Sustainable City; Al-Muna Gardens Compound; and other large-scale developments. Slope Stability Analysis Perform slope stability design and independent design review for infrastructure and energy projects using limit equilibrium and numerical methods. Soil Improvement and Reinforcement Design and supervise soil improvement works, including soil replacement and reinforcement using biaxial geogrids to enhance bearing capacity and stability.
