Jan. 2013 - Oct. 2014Legal duties of a 2.9.2 appointment as per the Mine Health and Safety act 29 of 1996 including the safe declaration of plants and workings • Directing and controlling a team operating a 3.5 million tons/year Manganese Ore Crushing, Washing, Screening and Sizing plant operation • Lead and supervise a team of 15 people in reaching company targets of production volumes, safety and costs in the appointed section. • Responsible for planning, execution and review of Road Truck Outbound Logistics Section exporting four different manganese products. • Responsible for all material movements in four different plants; Ore Preparation, Kawasaki Crushers, Sintering and Dense Medium Separation Plants • Manage Rail Load Out Operation and Surface Mobile Equipment fleet in concert to optimize the dispatching process to export 3mtpa of Manganese export whilst meeting performance standards as agreed in the Transnet contract
