I then completed a feasibility study on the various options; in consultation with Gartner, in order to benchmark and gain insight into best practice frameworks for Enterprise Resource Planning systems. The high level feasibility study that I conducted evaluated various systems; from 3rd party vendors as well as incumbent vendors currently supporting these systems, in order to address UWC’s express requirements and the current system’s critical issues. I then submitted a proposal for review and approval to the University’s ICT steering committee which has been approved for implementation. My role has also expanded to assist the university with other initiatives in order to support university’s daily operations. This includes being a primary interface between investment professionals, IT developers and vendors for the development and/or implementation of business applications for UWC. I liaise with relevant stakeholder management groups to prioritise project deliverables.
