With over 13 years in software architecture, data engineering, and technical leadership, I am eager to bring my expertise to the Data Engineer position at BAM within the Credit Risk Analytics Unit. My recent roles have centered on designing scalable architectures, managing high-volume data pipelines, and leading technical teams to deliver impactful, production-ready solutions. As Software Architect & Tech Lead at RegCheq, I have overseen all technical decisions for two high-concurrency SaaS platforms serving 250+ companies across Chile, Mexico, and Brazil. This includes managing AWS infrastructure (EKS, Lambdas, S3, SQS, SNS, EC2), implementing observability with CloudWatch and Datadog, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, integrating automated testing, code quality analysis, and AI-assisted reviews. At PayPal, I contributed to two global-scale platforms, including a subscription system handling over 95,000 daily sessions. Leveraging React, Next.js, and GraphQL, I improved performance and user experience while managing Kubernetes deployments and Datadog monitoring. My work in log analysis with ElasticSearch and Kibana enabled early detection of critical errors and improved incident response times. During my tenure at Tigo, I designed ETL services in Node.js to integrate operational data from Oracle, AS400, and external providers. I also developed analytical data cubes, defined reliable data sources, and ensured data governance for strategic reporting. My technical expertise spans Python, SQL, Pandas, Apache Spark, and R for data processing and analytics, combined with strong DevOps skills in CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS. I have a proven ability to work across the entire data lifecycle—from ingestion and transformation to delivering insights that drive business decisions.
