Oct. 2012 - Feb. 20144155 Linnean Ave NW Washington, DC 20008Hillwood Museum is a beautiful twenty five acres estate in NW Washington D.C.. Nestled in this prime location you will find a meticulously put together collection of very fine 18th century European antiques- collected by Mrs. Marjorie Merriweather Post, arguably one of the wealthiest women of Americaβs 20th Century. The collection consists mainly of French and Russian artifacts, many of them with interesting provenances. The estate is known for its beautiful gardens and when in bloom it has been ranked as one of the top ten gardens in North America.
My position originally started as an internship and led to me being employed by Dr. Liana Paredes, then Director of Collections and Head Curator.
