I have been involved in early subcontract work such as developing a subcontract strategy, negotiating through clarifications and revising contractual documents to follow up invoicing, instructions and variation orders. I have experience in different contract types such as NTK, FIDIC, BIMCO and understand the general setup of contracts. Worked closely with Subcontract Owners and Managers to better understand the technical aspect of the Subcontracts, developing technical understanding of core offshore and construction based subcontract operations (jacket fabrication, helideck fabrication, marine operations, lifting operations, scour protection). Assessed risks related to subcontracts; how to mitigate risks and how to deal with high probability risks commercially and contractually. Developed tools to automate the follow-up phase of subcontracts with focus on cashflow forecasting, Variation Orders, deadlines, milestone completion and other commitments.
