Strategic lead across paid and organic social media content, working closely with Nest agency to level up and deliver strong creative that services and delivers through full funnel. Cross-function creative support into digital, web, product and trade teams. Managing PR agencies (consumer and trade) to brief campaigns and projects, increasing new product call-ins and landing Monsoon in media that never considered the brand before. Recognition of the success of social media content output was a contributing factor in securing the transition of BBC Three from an avod/streaming channel to a linear concern. Lead the strategic direction and execution plan for all digital content to prepare the channel for its return to terrestrial television (launching February 1st 2022). Responsible for transforming the strategic direction of BBC Three in the social and digital content space in three key areas - publishing strategy and optimisation, visual look and feel, tone of voice - to take channels into double digit audience growth, beating competitors such as Hulu and Channel 4 in audience growth % and engagement. Led the content aspect of the Normal People campaign (drama) to achieve the highest BBC iPlayer viewer requests in BBC Three history. Developed and led content strategy for RuPaul’s Drag Race UK (entertainment), driving growth of show communities to over 1.2 million in 2 years and winning Broadcast Digital Award for ‘Best Digital Support For A Programme’, Season 1. Responsible for safety and welfare of contributors in the online and social space, authoring and delivering safety briefings in line with BBC security and governance guidelines. Championed the introduction of better learning, training and support for content producers and social media practitioners at BBC Three. Developed a new course with BBC Academy training experts for BBC Three social employees and social practitioners across the business to benefit from. Managing talent/agent relationships to deliver shoot briefs, social media strategies for talent on key shows, and livestream activity on Instagram and TikTok.
