Leading the team responsible for content planning and creation (email, web, SEO, paid), copywriting, organic social media, PR coverage (editorial, advertorial), events, and influencers / gifting. Led the strategic planning for Monsoon turning 50 in 2023 across content and social, PR and events, influencer engagement and gifting. Landed new exposure for Monsoon, in the shape of editorial features in media outlets including The Observer, Vogue, YOU/Daily Mail, Sheerluxe, Buzzfeed, The Telegraph.
Led the execution of PR events and a launch party for Monsoon Vintage - a pop-up on Portobello for the 50th. Strategic lead across paid and organic social media content, working closely with Nest agency to level up and deliver strong creative that services and delivers through full funnel.
Cross-function creative support into digital, web, product and trade teams.
Managing PR agencies (consumer and trade) to brief campaigns and projects, increasing new product call-ins and landing Monsoon in media that never considered the brand before. Budget owner across PR, influence/gifting, trend-led social/digital content shoots and reactive boosted media work. Working closely with finance to forecast and estimate spend, engaging suppliers, tracking budgets and working with finance on monthly accruals, over/under spend and month end. Introduced a new and more commercially savvy editorial narrative for ecrm campaigns and consistently implementing this style when in prime pricing to exceed regular email trade numbers. Strategic and creative lead on trend-led reactive photoshoots, producing content in an agile way to feed social (organic and paid), emails, web updates and SEO and PPC.
