KPMG USEditor/Designer/Senior Designer
Nov. 1998 - Jun. 2014Stamford, Connecticut, United States; New York, NYIn my earlier years at KPMG, I served as an Editor, Designer, and eventually Senior Designer, where I helped build the foundation for creative operations that supported both client growth and internal excellence. One of my first major initiatives was establishing and implementing a new business model for the New York City office that dramatically improved workflow efficiency. By strategically streamlining each phase of the creative process — from project conception to final delivery — we were able to reduce turnaround times, optimize team collaboration, and deliver a better experience for both internal and external clients. To further strengthen creative resources, I developed a comprehensive in-house image library that became an essential tool for design teams nationwide. In parallel, I cultivated strong partnerships with Getty imagery representatives, ensuring that our teams had easy, cost-effective access to high-quality visual assets. I also had the opportunity to collaborate on a multi-million dollar proposal and delivery concept for MTV, directly contributing to a major business win for KPMG’s Media & Entertainment practice. Throughout this role, I designed a wide range of compelling proposals, presentations, marketing collateral, and event materials for both national and international audiences. Delivering work that combined creativity with strategic purpose helped drive client satisfaction and measurable business growth. Quality assurance and compliance were key responsibilities as well. I conducted detailed reviews of financial statements and presentation materials, maintaining high graphic design standards while ensuring strict regulatory and brand compliance across all deliverables. Looking back, this role laid a strong foundation for how I approach creative leadership today — balancing strategic design thinking, operational efficiency, and a focus on delivering consistent, high-impact results.
