Many of them have excellent work-processes that allows a free-lancer like myself to stay engaged between contracts. HDA is a great company. I was able to set my own hours; go in, spend a little time merchandising things like magazines, books or greeting cards, DVDs, CDs, etc., and then out. Get paid by whatever hours I decide to put in. This work left me free to write, relax, relate, release; and available to travel for speaking engagements. It's very easy to manage and gratifying work for a detail-oriented person.
