• Process payroll within company defined turnaround time frames.
• Establish and maintain complete and accurate files of each production; file project documents electronically in Show Folders.
• Help clients understand state, federal and workers compensation statutory requirements.
• Help clients complete start paperwork and timecards as needed.
• Learn EP policies and procedures, and help team enforce them with clients.
• Consistently communicate status updates and availability externally and internally (such as, contacting clients when payroll is received and communicate on the processing timeline, changing voicemail daily, out of office weekends/as needed.)
• Act as a leader of the team, for payroll questions and escalations, and further escalate potential “issues” to appropriate manager.
• Assist with monitoring case queue and maintaining team workflow and coverage standards.
• Remain current on wage and hour laws and provisions for state and federal wage orders including but not limited to Wage Order 12.
• Provide employee earnings and analysis where requested, run Project Reports, review metrics (as applicable).
• Keep project information in Salesforce updated to include payroll schedule and projected timecards, etc.
• Manage and maintain payroll submissions through Salesforce Queue.
• Ensure weekly adjustments completed by end of week, otherwise escalate to manager; review/validate completed adjustments and communicate to client.
• Ensure compliance with document retention and processes (I-9s, etc.).
• When available, help the team/COE wherever needed.
• Other tasks and special projects as assigned
