Nov. 2013 - Apr. 2016Newcastle upon Tyne, United KingdomResponsibilities - Travelling to coach departure point in the UK, meeting the guests for that coach and travelling out to resort with them. - Showing clients to their accommodation in resort, helping them get their keys, ski/board hire, making sure they know when and where their lessons take place and guiding beginners through the first steps to the slopes - Conducting room rounds on a nightly basis, keeping everyone up to date with daytime and night time activities, assisting & solving any problems that have arisen and providing information that will ensure guests make the most of their trip - Cash Management & Auxiliary sales in resort - Restaurant bookings & on-site event management - Assisting with insurance and medical administration when required - Leading and managing a team of reps to cover ski lessons, night rep duties, events and social duties - Being a friendly face, helpful and approachable at all times - Having endless energy and enthusiasm. - Travelling back to the UK, and ensuring that the passenger journey is smooth right up to the point that they return home Essential Skills - Excellent interpersonal skill - Relationship development with suppliers - Exceptional leadership and management skills - Ability to be both fun and responsible - Hard working, and used to long hours - Being able to problem solve - Highly motivated - Keen interest in skiing/snowboarding - Confident and energetic - Public speaking - The ability to confidently address hundreds of guests -Pride in own appearance - Organised and prepared to keep up to date with the necessary paperwork in resort
