Sep. 2022 - Jan. 2025• Led quantitative and qualitative analytics at USAID for HIV and gender for a major 22-year long bipartisan effort to eliminate global HIV and AIDS, leveraging diverse datasets, including RWE, epidemiology, clinical, and financial, to drive data-informed decisions, program improvements, and surveillance activities leading to an increase in services accessed from 50% to 80% • Led recruitment and supervised team members providing analytical support • Advised and delivered technical expertise on RWE data collection, quality, analysis, and use to headquarters and in-country teams to expand access to clinical services across program supported countries and ensure accurate and comprehensive data collection • Developed methodology to integrate conflict, epidemiological, and surveillance data to understand the relationship between conflict and access to gender-HIV clinical care, to improve access to services for victims in conflict-affected areas • USAID lead for HIV/Gender and Data Working Group, fostering interagency partnerships to ensure analytics were aligned across government and external stakeholders to ensure programmatic impact and resource optimization; represented the agency on internal and external surveillance working groups • Led design, coordination, development, and pilot for data quality assessment tools to be implemented across supported countries in all sites providing post gender-based violence clinical care; this included drafting protocol, guidance, data collection tool, and abstract • Designed custom indicators and analytic tools, such as data collection protocols, and pioneered sustainability frameworks for data to significantly improve monitoring and evaluation of clinical care programs • Developed and liaised with the CDC, Department of Defense, Department of State, as well as with country staff and interagency leads on analytics for monitoring and evaluation • Contributed to and wrote several abstracts based on successful projects
