Acted as the liaison between Project Managers and the various departments to ensure cost tracking and accurate recording. · Supervised team members · Worked alongside Project Managers on RFQ/P to develop and explain cost and financial analyzes. · Set-up new projects in Costpoint after Compliance review and approval. · Conducted project kick-off meetings and training sessions. · Managed complex energy projects and implemented tracking measures on subcontractors, incentives, deliverables, and installations – to facilitate the audit process and meet SOX/revenue recognition standards. · Facilitated meetings with Project Managers on Departmental Goals to report updated budgets to actual, funding levels, milestone progression, and EAC/ETC – award recipient 2009 – 2012. · Processed monthly journal entries for GSA IFF, subcontractor accruals, and deferred revenue/costs. · Assured costs and project revenues were recognized accurately by validating A/P coding, PLC assignments, and tracking deliverables/milestones. · Participated in A/R, Operations, pricing, audit, and revenue meetings. · Assisted Billings Department meet DSO and reduce unbilled by facilitating invoice review with Project Managers where we won the Treasurer’s award each year from 2009 through 2012. · Provided assistance with DCAA, GSA, and Grant Thornton audits. · Contacted customers on project matters, invoicing issues, and A/R collection.
