Univ. de la República - InCo, CeCal, Fac. de IngenieríaActive Member in CeCal Research group
Mar. 2011 - Sep. 2019School of Engineering, MontevideoI've been working in CeCal since 2011. I got in touch with other members of the group by the time I was a former student on their High Perfomance Computing lectures Since that moment I realized it was the academic field I wanted to contribute and be part of. After the course I had the opportunity to work in the GISELA Project (we are still in touch) and migrate applications to Scientific Gateways. My later works are relating to Greedy Scheduling in Heterogeneous Infrastructures. OurGrid Middleware is the product we have chosen to work because of 2 main reasons: (1) we have direct contact to the developers and, (2) in South America this Middleware has a very important role in the project for creating a continent wide grid. My contributions relate to resources allocation in OurGrid. The results were presented in HPCLatam 2013, Mendoza, Argentina.
