I joined Zonal as a fractional CTO, filling a void in the executive technology and product leadership. Key milestones - I helped Zonal reshape its next generation of products by validating and rationalising existing roadmaps to be deliverable in achievable timeframes.
- I pursued strong leadership to bring together disparate leaders and teams, raising morale, and coaching some of the really great potential future leaders of Zonal. - Helped the leadership team understand the status of all deliverables in product and technology through restructured reporting, KPIs, and honest commentary.

I left this post to focus on my own ventures and consulting business, Pulse Advisory. Introduced the concept of a restaurant operating system that was subsequently branded as mapal-os. The purpose being to provide a design system and easy way to connect common data sets from the acquired businesses to enable the cross-sell of products. Put in place organisational structure, process and procedure across the very different business types to maintain order whilst technical integration occurred. Constructed a development centre in the UK that focused on innovation and deep product integration. Some of the challenges I had to overcome included, multiple cultures, language barriers, very differing technology stacks, very different business types, and obviously different management structures.
