We will use some assessments to help us select 2 high-value areas for growth that are important to you and the organization. Once we are clear on which behaviors to improve, we will invite some stakeholders to support your development. The next phase is a future-focused Monthly FeedForward Cycle. This consists of 7 steps: 1. Ask for future-focused suggestions to improve in your growth areas 2. Listen to the suggestions 3. Thank the suggestions 4. Think about the suggestions and make an action plan 5. Respond to the suggestions by sharing your action plan 6. Change behavior by implementing the suggestions in your action plan 7. And follow up to make sure the change is visible and recognized by your stakeholders The final phase is Measuring Leadership Growth. We all know that you can only manage what you can measure. Therefore, each quarter, we will ask you and your stakeholders how much change they have seen in the past 3 months. This -3 to +3 measurement will give you clarity on the return on your efforts by answering the question, “How much more effective have I become to my stakeholders.” Their perception is reality. The objective of the Stakeholder Centered Coaching process is twofold: ● First, you grow as a leader by becoming measurably more effective ● Second, is to transfer this leadership growth process to you so that you can continue to develop yourself and your team moving forward. Our engagement is for a fixed period of time, and hence I will provide you with all the resources you will need to continue to be more and more successful moving forward with the support of your stakeholders.
