Line managing a member of the team, I led the creation of a new catalogue and system for overseeing all health related publications across key organisations. Following Living with Covid-19 Strategy, I am re-developing the team to perform a general fact checking function for the department, as well as provide urgent and front line support for all Head of Profession for Statistics matters, across all health topic areas.

I managed a senior statistician in developing a new excel based model to predict transit declarations and prepare Border Force staff. I work and line managed a team of 12 analysts of varying analytical professions. During my time in this team, I also managed data collection and quality assurance process for trade statistics in time for monthly publication. During this role I managed 3 analysts and supported around 60 operational staff. To improve quality of the directorate's outputs, I stood up a new Quality Assurance Working Group, running tailored teach in sessions, writing guidance and introducing new processes for the programme as a whole.

Mar. 2018 - May. 2019London, United KingdomI led forecasting of Child Benefit and Tax Credits caseloads and expenditure which feeds directly into the Office for Budget Responsibility Welfare Spending forecasts. I managed data and relationships across DWP, HMRC and OBR to improve the model and minimise the forecasting error. I created a new Gender Network which addressed gender pay gap as well as other gender issues in the workplace. As part of this work, I organised a conference for HMRC, inviting key speakers to discuss gender related issues and more, the conference was attended by around 250 colleagues. During this post, I also work / line managed an economist.

Represented the department at Home Office led meetings to support all manner of Grenfell tower analytical work required. Obtaining a data sharing agreement with relevant organisations, I drew up a list of properties more than 18 metres high which were potentially clad with aluminium-type panels (for 19 June 2017). This analysis enabled associations to check relevant buildings and submit samples for testing. I managed and published a range of National Statistics publications including monthly, quarterly and two annual reports for Household Energy Efficiency and National Energy Efficiency Data team. I led development of SQL code off-site, at another government department, improving code and merge functionality, reducing the amount of time required for the secondment in future years. In the first year of this posting, raised ยฃ2,000 for MIND charity through cake sales, charity raffles and hosting a comedy show.

I also supported modelling analysis to estimate the cost of time limiting EEA nationals benefit claims. Aside from analytical contributions, I developed a series of in-house teach-ins across the Department, to improve networking and knowledge sharing across professions.

I also led the design, roll out and implementation of a new electric and utility poles numbering system across England. The new design improved organisation's ability to identify damaged poles and enabled faster reactive maintenance service.
