My focus is on designing algorithms for Direction-of-Arrival (DoA) estimation and interference suppression using multi-antenna arrays (ULA/UCA). I am prototyping and optimising MATLAB-based algorithms (e.g., MUSIC, MVDR, LCMV), fine-tuning them for accuracy and computational efficiency. I am also customising DoA/beamforming solutions and benchmarking them against built-in algorithms. Additionally, I am working on array calibration, spatial covariance estimation, eigen-decomposition, and resolving angle ambiguity. My efforts are geared toward transitioning these algorithms to FPGA-ready architectures with a focus on floating-point modelling, latency, and real-time performance optimization. I am building pipelined, parallel processing chains for high-throughput, real-time operation, and exploring adaptive beamforming and null-steering techniques to mitigate jamming while preserving GNSS signals. Finally, I am involved in Verilog implementation for complex floating-point matrix architectures to enhance system performance.
