• Work with numerous corporations on pre-acquisition due diligence activities and litigation risk assessments
• Experienced in all aspects of litigation, including: conducting direct and cross examinations at trial; arguing motions; taking, defending and preparing for depositions; preparing expert reports and leading expert and fact discovery; witness preparation and trial graphics
• Draft numerous types of legal briefs, including motions for summary judgment, motions to dismiss, appeal briefs, motions for judgment as a matter of law, motions in limine, motions to compel, motions to bifurcate and motions to stay discovery and litigation
• Co-first chair for two trials: one concerning surgical hemostatic devices covered by patents asserted in the ITC; the other a Hatch-Waxman trial concerning anti-transplant rejection therapy in the District of Delaware
• Essential team member for four additional trials, including three Hatch-Waxman trials representing both branded and generic clients, and one jury trial in the biotechnology arena. • Led firm-wide pro bono project with Sanctuary for Families concerning nationwide human trafficking legislation; received 2013 Above and Beyond Award from the organization.
• Served as partner liaison for multi-firm pro bono effort with National Center for Access to Justice to compile and analyze data concerning access to judicial resources for indigent people
