Jan. 2021 - Jan. 2026Warri, Delta State, NigeriaI work with Operations Team to ensure that the Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU) produces at optimal level. I also troubleshoot operational issues by working with all levels of personnel, including operators, technicians, etc. and devising new and innovative approaches to solve problems arising from plant operations. My Key Responsibilities include: 1. Monitoring performance of Fuels Plant II for possible areas of capacity optimization 2. Suggests areas in Fuels Plant II that require modification, to maintain and enhance product quality 3. Use technical software (Hysys, ProMax, etc...) to simulate fuels plant processes and equipment 4. Liaise with relevant functional units in ensuring regular maintenance and repair of fuels plant II facilities 5. Work with Supply Chain Management in ensuring availability of spare parts as and when required 6. Ensure production, storage, evacuation of products and wastes from plants and storage facilities 7. Ensures fuels manufacturing is carried out in line with established operational guidelines, relevant specifications and industry standards 8. Ensures compliance with ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System Requirement & Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) 9. Ensures high quality Liquefied Petroleum Gases (LPG), Gasoline, Light Cycle Oil and Decant Oil are produced 10. Provides timely and regular reports on production activities of the unit to the Manager, Production 11. Ensures the capacity development of direct reports, through coaching and other learning methods, for career growth, optimal productivity and performance 12. Provides regular, formal and informal, feedback on identified gaps of direct reports' performance and recommend appropriate solutions
