The last phase of the project involved working with several senior sales and operations managers, helping to streamline various reporting issues so that they could more effectively measure the real performance of the company. Key Achievements: - Overhauled existing revenue projection report to reflect proper end-of-month reporting. Outcome: This report is slated to clearly reflect relative profit activity across more than 100 projects per month, a marked change from the prior focus on revenues only. - Recommended and demoed to executive team the merits of adopting BI software. Outcomes: This initiative will (1) permit employees to quickly and easily access 8 years' worth of historical data across 6 databases creating a new real time decision making tool for the economic planning and execution of all projects and (2) drastically lower data searches by approximately 200 man-hours per month, giving the Salesmen an additional tool to use when bidding on projects and demonstrating increased efficiencies on existing projects. - Investigated a series of problems with the In-house ERP systems that were leading to incorrect data being input into financial reports. Identified the changes necessary, managed the implementation, and verified the issues were resolved. Outcomes: (1) Played a pivotal role in increasing reporting accuracy from 65% to 99% in less than 4 months (2) elevated morale amongst all end users

Outcomes: (1) Slashed original 13 "no-fault-found" root causes to just 2 and (2) reclaimed $6M in rig time and lost time charges. * Closely interacted with a client and design engineers to correct a bug discovered in the "pe" algorithm in the density tool. Outcome: Resolved this issue in about 6 months - a task that would normally take between 16 and 20 months. * Tenaciously lobbied Global management into bringing together a task force to look at the worldwide problems with running the acoustic caliper tool. Outcomes: (1) A firmware and software issue was discovered, and (2) $10M of assets were redeployed and resumed generating revenue.
