After spending five years working alongside and managing physicians, I suddenly found myself in an entirely different landscape—one where I was responsible for leading young professionals and an entire front-facing operation. My role demanded that I oversee tech support, sales, and marketing, yet I quickly realized that managing a dynamic, fast-paced team required a completely different skill set than the one I had mastered in the medical world. I wasn’t ready. But in that struggle, I found the lessons that would shape the leader I would become.
